We are really passionate about sharing our knowledge, tips and strategies for managing challenging behaviours in children. Our workshops are designed to be educational, thought provoking and humorous. We believe that a great network & a sense of humour is essential for parenting, and as such encourage families to create their own personalised groups for our workshops. We are very passionate about breaking down barriers and negativity surrounding parenting support and educational workshops.
The 1-2-3 Magic and Emotion Coaching is a 3 part (3 x 2 hours) program designed to assist parents learn a new approach to disciplining and understanding their child.
It encourages parents to be more emotionally aware themselves, and to gain a deeper understanding of how their own “behaviour and emotional responses”, can have a profound affect on their relationship with their child and the ways in which they discipline.It also teaches parents how to separate from their own emotions when it comes to discipline.
Developing a deeper understanding of your child and taking the time to teach them how to identify, track and manage their emotions, is the key to success.
The program is focused on teaching your child how to self regulate, make good decisions on their own and understand their own emotions. The good news is that emotional regulation is a vital skill for children that can be taught by a loving and attentive parent.
You can strengthen your relationships with your child, and help bring the family together using a unified approach.
The 1-2-3 Magic and Emotion Coaching program aims: to teach parents how to deal with their children’s difficult behaviour by using an easy-to-learn and easy-to-use signalling system. The signalling system requires the parent to use less talk and less emotion, which in turn encourages the development of children’s ability to manage their emotional reactions to parental boundaries (or emotional competency).
